IPL 2022: Virat Kohli's BIG revelation about some teams in the IPL

Former India captain Virat Kohli revealed that he was approached a few times by IPL franchisees in the past to put himself in the auction.

Kohli, who was speaking at RCB podcast, said despite that he choose to stay at Royal Challengers Bangalore.

"What this franchise has given to me in the first three years, and believed in me, is the most special thing. There were many teams who had the opportunity. They didn't back me and they didn't believe in me", Kohli said.

Virat Kohli is the only cricketer in the Indian Premier League to represent only one franchise in IPL history so far. After eight years in charge, Kohli stepped down as RCB skipper at the end of the IPL 2021 season. He was one of the three players retained by RCB for Rs 15 crore ahead of IPL Auction 2022.
