IPL 2022: THIS Afghanistani player to replace Jason Roy in Gujarat Titans squad

After Jason Roy's surprise pullout from IPL 2022, Gujarat Titans replaced the England batter with Afghanistan's Rahmanullah Gurbaz in their IPL 2022 squad.

According to an ESPNcricinfo report, Gujarat have picked Gurbaz for his base price of Rs 50 lakh.

Gurbaz will be the third Afghanistani player in Gujarat Titans' camp after Rashid Khan and Noor Ahmad. This will be Gurbaz's first IPL stint.

The 20-year-old wicketkeeper-batter has played 20 T20 Internationals so far and scored 534 runs at a strike rate of 137.63, including three fifties.
