After finishing at the bottom of the points table last year, Sunrisers Hyderabad has beefed up their coaching staff after hiring former West Indian legend Brian Lara and South African speedster Dale Steyn.
In a release on Thursday, the 2016 IPL champions announced that Lara will join as the new batting coach of the team. While former pacer Dale Steyn was roped in as the fast bowling coach, the spin bowling department will remain under former Sri Lankan spinner Muttiah Muralitharan.

Tom Moody remains the head coach of the Hyderabad outfit ahead of the 2022 season as SRH have roped in former Royal Challengers Bangalore head coach Simon Katich too. Katich will be the assistant coach along with former India cricketer Hemang Badani who has been hired as the fielding coach and scout for the team.
