Gujarat Titans continued their dominance in the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2022) and regained the top spot on IPL 2022 points table after clinching the nail-biter against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the first match on Saturday (April 23).

Meanwhile, Sunrisers Hyderabad leapfrogged to the second spot on IPL 2022 team standings after registering their fifth consecutive win this season. Hyderabad also saw a major correction in their net run rate after thrashing Royal Challengers Bangalore by 9 wickets as they chased down a mere 69-run target with 72 balls to spare.

Rajasthan Royals are at the third spot while Bangalore are in the fourth position. But RCB's net run rate got a major dent after losing their fixture against SRH. Kolkata, on the other hand, remained at the seventh position after registering their 4th consecutive defeat.

Lucknow Super Giants could jump to the second spot if they register a big win over Mumbai Indians on Sunday (April 24).

Moreover, Jos Buttler continued to hold the orange cap after scoring a blistering 116 against Delhi Capitals. He has now 491 runs in seven matches. While Yuzvendra Chahal too continues to hold the purple cap with 18 wickets in seven matches.
