Gujarat Titans strengthen their position on IPL 2022 points table after they edged out Chennai Super Kings in a last-over thriller on Sunday (April 17). Gujarat have now five wins in six games and the newly-inducted IPL team has maximum 10 points on IPL 2022 leaderboard. On the other hand, Chennai are languished in the bottom half of the points table with only one win in six games.

Meanwhile, Sunrisers Hyderabad have jumped to the 4th spot on IPL 2022 team rankings after thrashing Punjab Kings in the first match of the day (April 17). Hyderabad now have four wins in 6 games and they leapfrogged many teams after starting slow in IPL 2022. The other new entrant Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) are at the second spot followed by Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).

Moreover, Rajasthan's Jos Buttler continued to top the list of highest run-getters in IPL 2022. KL Rahul is second on the list after hitting a swashbuckling hundred on April 16 against Mumbai Indians. Buttler is currently holding the orange cap with 272 runs in 5 games. Meanwhile, Yuzvendra Chahal continued to top the list of highest wicket-takers in the ongoing cash-rich league with 12 wickets in 5 matches. Chahal is currently holding the purple cap.
