Shahrukh Khan was expected to fetch a big amount in the IPL 2022 mega auction and the youngster lived up to the hype. Punjab Kings bought him back for a whopping ₹9 crore.
The uncapped youngster, who had a base price of ₹40 lakh, made a name for himself after great performances in the limited opportunities he got in the last IPL. He also smashed a six off the last ball to help Tamil Nadu defend the Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy.
Not to anyone's surprise, Shahrukh Kahn was on the radar of many franchises but after a bidding war with KKR, Punjab bought the young batter.
