For the first time in nine years, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will compete in the Indian Premier League (IPL) without Virat Kohli at the helm of affairs. South African veteran Faf du Plessis will lead RCB this season as Kohli has decided to step down from the top job last season.
Like others, RCB have also refurbished their squad as they bought new players during the IPL 2022 Mega Auction. They bought their last season's match-winner Harshal Patel for a whopping Rs 10.75 crore.
