Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma heaped praise on Arjun Tendulkar, who successfully defended 20 runs off the final over against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Rohit, who completed the catch of Bhuvneshwar Kumar to give Arjun his maiden IPL wicket, was quite happy with his young pacer’s performance who registered figures of 1/18 from 2.5 overs.

In the post-match presentation, Rohit said, “It's quite exciting to play with Arjun. Life has come full circle. Arjun has been part of the squad for the last three years. I have seen him grow.”

35-year-old Rohit had previously shared the Indian and Mumbai Indians dressing room with Arjun's father, the legendary Sachin Tendulkar.

The Mumbai skipper further added that the 23-year-old "understands what he wants to do, trying to swing the new ball and bowl yorkers at the death."
