BCCI secretary Jay Shah in an official statement on Tuesday revealed the venue of the Indian Premier League 2022 playoffs and finals.
While Qualifier 1 and Eliminator will take place in Kolkata's iconic Eden Garden Stadium, Ahmedabad will host Qualifier 2 and the IPL final for the 15th edition, the statement read.

Qualifier 1 and Eliminator will be played on the 24th and 25th of May, Qualifier 2 and the final will be played on 27th and 29th of May respectively.
Earlier, BCCI president Sourav Ganguly said that the IPL 2022 playoffs and final will be held at full capacity.
BCCI further informed that the Women's T20 Challenge series will be held between May 23rd to 28th at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune.
Notably, the Women's challenge T20 tournament did not take place during the previous edition of IPL.
