Punjab Kings got their second win in the bag with a 5-run win against the Rajasthan Royals in Guwahati on Wednesday.

Put in to bat first, Punjab got off to a brilliant start with opener Prabhsimran Singh (60) sending the Punjab Kings on a leather hunt with some unbelievable striking.

However, it was Shikhar Dhawan's innings 56-ball 86* that took Punjab to an impressive 197/4 even as wickets were falling at the other end.

Chasing 198, Royals surprised everyone by sending Ravichandran Ashwin to open alongside Yashasvi Jaiswal, but the move backfired as both the openers were dismissed inside the first 4 overs.

While Nathan Ellis took a brilliant 4/30, gritty knocks from Sanju Samson (42), Shimron Hetmyer (36) and Dhruv Jurel (32*) took the game to the very last over.

With 16 needed off the final over, Sam Curran held his nerves to propel the Kings to second on the points table.
