English players made big waves in IPL 2023 auction as Harry Brook was sold for a whopping ₹13.25 crore to the Sunrisers Hyderabad.

The youngster from England, who had a base price of ₹1.5 crore, triggered a bidding war between the Royal Challengers Bangalore and the Rajasthan Royals before SRH ran away with Brook.

The 23-year-old burst onto the international scene with swashbuckling strokeplay and has a strike rate of 137.7 in 20 T20Is he has played so far. He has also smashed 3 hundreds and a half-century in his first 4 Test innings.
