If you are someone who carries 'gutka' anywhere you go, skip keeping it with you in case you are planning to watch India vs Pakistan ODI World Cup 2023 match in the stadium.
The Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) had specially requested Ahmedabad Police to ensure that no fans carried pan masala or gutka inside the Narendra Modi stadium on Saturday.
'It takes a lot of money and manpower to remove these masala stains. There have been instances where the sink pipe saw blockage, because people spat out the masala. We have requested police to ensure that no masala is allowed inside the stadium,' a GCA official said.
The Narendra Modi Stadium has a capacity of 1.30 lakh and it is expected to be a full house for the mother of all battles.
