India dominated the league stage of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, winning all 9 of their fixtures.
The hosts finished at the top of the table, amassing 18 points after defeating Netherlands by 160 runs in Match 45 at Bengaluru's Chinnaswamy Stadium.
South Africa finish second with 14 points from seven wins. The Proteas will face Australia in the second semifinal in Kolkata on November 16.
Australia, who began their campaign at the bottom of the table, quickly bounced back and now sit at number 3.
The Aussies also have 14 points but South Africa went top by virtue of their net run-rate.
Kane Williamson and Co. who marginally squeezed through to the top 4, finish with 10 points.
As for the Champions Trophy qualification, apart from hosts Pakistan, Afghanistan (6) and defending champions England (7) made it through to the top 7.
