Cricket World Cup final: Palestine supporter invades pitch and hugs Virat Kohli | India vs Australia

The India vs Australia Cricket World Cup final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad was brought to a short halt in the 14th over when a pitch invader, advocating the Palestine cause, ran onto the field and hugged Virat Kohli.

He was wearing a Palestine mask and also carried a Palestine flag. The pro-Palestine supporter had "Free Palestine" and "Stop Bombing Palestine" written on his t-shirt.

The security officials immediately caught the invader and he was arrested. However, the invasion raised major security concerns in the stadium.
