Afghanistan pacer Naveen-ul-Haq took a dig at Australia ahead of his side's crucial ODI World Cup clash against Australia in Mumbai on Tuesday.

Naveen posted an Instagram story saying, 'Refusing to play the bilateral series, now it will be interesting to see cricket Australia stand in the World Cup #standards #humanrights or 2 points.'

His comment was targetted towards Cricket Australia for forfeiting a 3-match ODI series against Afghanistan in the UAE in late March.

The Aussie board had then stated that they had pulled out of the series following the Taliban's announcement regarding restrictions on women's and girls' education and employment.

This is not the first time that Naveen expressed his disappointment with the decision. He had earlier pulled out of the Big Bash League as well, which is Australia's premier domestic tournament.
