The UK Police has arrested Manchester United's Mason Greenwood on suspicion of rape after his girlfriend Harriet Robson accused him of sexual assault and domestic violence.
The Greater Manchester Police said that an investigation is launched and the man in his 20s was arrested after images and videos posted by a woman depicting physical violence went viral. The police, however, did not name the man. He remains in custody for questioning, the police added.

Robson on Sunday posted shocking images, videos, and an audio clip that showed her bruised legs and hands and bleeding nose. She said that the 20-year-old English footballer sexually assaulted her. She later deleted them.
Although the Premier League club had earlier refrained from commenting until the facts are out, Manchester United authorities have now suspended the footballer until further notice.
