UEFA Champions League: Manchester City advance to quarterfinals on 5-0 aggregate vs Sporting CP

Manchester City progressed into the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League with a 5-0 aggregate as they played out a 0-0 draw against Sporting CP in their round of 16's second leg match.

With City already defeating the Portuguese side 5-0 in the first leg, Pep Guardiola made several changes to his starting team.

Raheem Sterling went close to scoring in the first half but his effort was saved.

Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus netted one in the second half but it was ruled out for offside after a VAR review.
