Despite a 1-0 loss against 10-man Inter Milan, Liverpool qualified for the quarterfinals of the Champions League on a 2-1 aggregate win over the Italian club on Tuesday.

This was Liverpool's first defeat at their home ground Anfield in a year.

Liverpool struggled to get into the rhythm while Inter were compact in their movement. But both teams failed to break the deadlock.
