Turkey earthquake: Football club Yeni Malatyaspor confirm goalkeeper Ahmet Eyup Turkaslan's death

Football club Yeni Malatyaspor have confirmed the death of their goalkeeper Ahmet Eyup Turkaslan following Monday's earthquake in the region.

"Our goalkeeper, Ahmet Eyup Turkaslan, lost his life after being under the collapse of the earthquake. Rest in peace," the club announced on Twitter.

28-year-old Turkaslan represented the second-division club Yeni Malatyaspor 6 times after joining in 2021.
