SAFF Football: India through to the final, beat Lebanon 4-2 on penalties in the semis

India are through to the final of the SAFF Championship after beating Lebanon 4-2 on penalties in Bengaluru on July 1.

Both sides were goalless after the 90 minutes despite getting ample chances on goal.

After another goalless spell of 30 minutes in the extra time, it all came down to penalties.

It was the Blue Tigers who turned out to be the winning team in the end courtesy of Gurpreet Singh Sandhu's goalkeeping heroics.

India will be facing Kuwait in the final of the tournament.
