The in-game audio of VAR calls taken during the Premier League matches will be released more often from next year according to referees' chief Howard Webb.

With VAR often becoming the center of attention during Premier League matches, Howard Webb has said that the conversations between the match referee and VAR officials in between games would be released more often which would help clarify all the VAR calls in a better manner.

“We’re looking to do this (release audio) as much as we possibly can,” Professional Game Match Officials Limited chief Webb said on the Monday Night Football show.

“Tonight is obviously something new. We’re making a small step forward. Going forward into next season we will look to do more of the same.” he added.
