Lionel Messi's last game for Paris Saint Germain ended in disappointment as the Ligue 1 champions faltered 2-3 against Clermont at Parc des Princes.

Before the game began, PSG's announcer confirmed Messi would not extend his 2-season stay at the club, making the Clermont game his last.

Though it was his farewell game, some of the fans booed Messi after the Argentine's name was announced.

For the Christophe Glatier's side who sealed the title last week, Sergio Ramos scored the first goal in the 16th minute and Kylian Mbappe doubled it with a penalty 5 minutes later.

However, the game's momentum gradually shifted towards Clermont as Johan Gastien, Mehdi Zeffane and Grejohn Kyei found the net each to help Pascal Gastien's team secure the victory to finish the season in the 8th spot.
