Chelsea won 1-0 against Crystal Palace on Saturday thanks to a late goal from Hakim Ziyech, as the freshly crowned club world champions returned to winning ways in the Premier League after nearly a month.
The first half went goalless as Crystal Palace gave only a few chances to Chelsea, who failed to convert any of them.

After the break, Palace had two chances to score on a counter-attack but they failed to get the final touch.
With Romelu Lukaku failing to create any chances, Moroccan winger Ziyech rose to the occasion and netted a volley from substitute Marcos Alonso in the 89th minute to give Chelsea a 1-0 win.
After the win, Chelsea remained in the third spot with seven points behind second-placed Liverpool and 13 points adrift the leader's Manchester City.
