Manchester City vs Leeds United

A dominant Manchester City inched closer to the English Premier League title as Pep Guardiola's men spoiled new manager Allardyce's first game in charge of Leeds United by handing them a 2-1 defeat at the Etihad Stadium.

Ilkay Gundogan struck twice within the first 27 minutes helping the defending champions extend their lead at the top of the table to four points. Rodrigo Moreno though got one back in the 85th minute, City eventually extended its unbeaten run to 20 games in all competitions and moved Pep Guardiola closer to a third straight league title.

Chelsea vs Bournemouth

A struggling Chelsea ended a six-game losing streak by beating Bournemouth 3-1 at Vitality Stadium in the English Premier League.

While Conor Gallagher struck early in the 9th minute, Matias Vina levelled it in the 1st minute. Benoit Badiashile and Joao Felix, however, found the net in the 2nd half as the Blues earned their first points since Frank Lampard returned as interim manager. The London club picked up one spot in the standings as they moved to 11th place.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Crystal Palace

Harry Kane shone with a first-half header as Tottenham defeated Crystal Palace 1-0 at home to keep their faint Europa League hopes alive in the English Premier League.

This was Kane's 28th goal in all competitions. This moved him ahead of Wayne Rooney into outright second on the league's all-time leading scorer list with 209.

Liverpool vs Brentford

Mohammad Salah's 13th-minute goal was enough for Jurgen Klopp's team to hand Brentford a 1-0 loss at Anfield.  The victory helped Liverpool move within a point of fourth-placed Manchester United.

Wolves vs Aston Villa

Toti Gomes' 9th-minute goal helped Wolverhampton beat Aston Villa 1-0. While the Wolves are placed 13th, Aston Villa are in the 8th spot after suffering 2nd straight loss.
