9-0! It was a massacre at Anfield as Liverpool demolished Bournemouth in the English Premier League.

It was the joint biggest top-flight win ever for the Reds, who had defeated Crystal Palace with the same margin 33 years back. They also equalled the Premier League records for goals scored and margin of victory.

After being winless in their first 3 games of the season, Liverpool finally shook off a sluggish start to the season. In fact, by the time the first half got done, they had already smashed 5 goals.

Even after the break, the Reds continued their onslaught. Roberto Firmino & Luis Diaz both finished with a brace each as Liverpool finally got their season going in some style.

It was surprising though that Mohd Salah, their talisman, and top-scorer for the past 5 years didn't even get on the scoresheet or manage an assist during their incredible rout of the Cherries.
