A brace each from Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane helped Liverpool crush Leeds United 6-0 in a Premier League game on Wednesday night.

The goal-fest at Anfield started with an early goal from Salah as he converted a penalty in the 15th minute.

Liverpool doubled the lead through Joel Mario's goal in the 30th minute before Salah's converted another spot-kick five minutes later which virtually sealed the game for the home side.

The hapless Leeds were no match to Liverpool's forward play in the second half too as they failed to create any chance.

Meanwhile, title-chasers Liverpool scored their fourth goal of the match after Mane deflected a cross from Salah in the 80th minute, before scoring his second goal in the 90th minute.

A perfect evening for Jurgen Klopp's side ended with a header from Virgil van Dijk in the stoppage time.

After the win, second-placed Liverpool are just three points behind the Premier League leaders Manchester City. While Leeds slipped further towards the relegation zone with only three points ahead of the bottom three.
