Harry Kane scored his third consecutive goal in the Premier League as Tottenham were held to a 1-1 draw by 10-men Southampton on Tuesday.

Southampton took an early lead after James Ward-Prowse’s fierce shot from just inside the box in the 25th minute.

In the 41st minute, Kane converted a penalty when Son Heung-min was tripped by a Southampton defender.

The Spurs dominated the second half but as many as two goals were disallowed by VAR by the thinest of off-side margin, denying them a win.

Tottenham slid to sixth position with 30 points whereas Southampton are at the 12th spot on the Premier League leaderboard with 21 points.
