Manchester City close in on Arsenal once again with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Crystal Palace at the Selhurst Park Stadium in Premier League.

Pep Guardiola's men struggled to break through the host's defence, however, they finally found the chance as Erling Haaland converted a 78th-minute penalty to keep up the pressure on table toppers Gunners. This was Haaland's 28th goal in 27 league games for the visitors.

With the win Manchester City made it to 61 points, 2 points behind Arsenal sitting atop the table and 12 points ahead of 3rd placed Manchester United.

Meanwhile, improved Chelsea continue their resurgence as they handed Leicester City 3-1 loss. Ben Chilwell, Kai Havertz and Mateo Kovacic scored as Graham Potter win 3 successive matches in all competitions.

Harry Kane and Son Heung Min scored as Tottenham strengthened their place in the fourth spot of the Premier League with a 3-1 win over Nottingham Forest.
