Erling Haaland etched a brilliant record to his name as Manchester City moved back to the 2nd spot in the EPL table with a 3-1 win against Leeds United at Elland Road.

While Rodri scored the opener in the first half stoppage time, Haaland, who was playing in his place of birth, struck twice in the 51st and 64th minute to provide Pep Guardiola's men a clear upper hand. Pascal Struijk headed in a late consolation for Leeds to make it a 1-3 scoreline.

The fiery Norwegian became the fastest player to reach 20 EPL goals in just 14 games since joining the Citizens from Borussia Dortmund in the summer. With the win, City narrowed the gap on Table leaders Arsenal to 5 points.
