Matchweek 8 of the Premier League saw Chelsea FC get a resounding 4-1 win against Burnley away from home which made it back-to-back wins for the Blues.

Al-Dakhil's own goal was followed by goals from Cole Palmer, Raheem Sterling, and Nicolas Jackson which took Chelsea to 11 points on the league table.

After two consecutive home defeats, Manchester United left it very late at Old Trafford but managed to get the three points against Brentford, beating them 2-1.

2 late goals in stoppage time by substitute Scott McTominay helped the Red Devils get the win in the bag after Brentford's Mathias Jensen had broken the deadlock earlier in the first half.

10-men Tottenham Hotspur continued their brilliant run in the league with a 1-0 away win against Luton Town as Van de Ven broke the deadlock in the 52nd minute after Bissouma was sent off late in the first half.

The win took them top of the leaderboard with 2nd place Man City having a game in hand over them.
