Burnley held Arsenal to a goalless draw on Sunday in the Premier League and earned a point to keep themselves away from the relegation zone.

The Gunners lacked quality and composure with only Bukayo Saka making some decent attempts to break the deadlock in the first half.

Burnley goalkeeper Nick Pope made some excellent saves in the second half, denying Martin Odegaard and Lacazette’s attempts to put Arsenal ahead.

After the draw, Arsenal remained 5th on the Premier League points table, two points behind fourth-placed Manchester United with a game in hand. Last-placed Burnley moved within four points safety with four games in hand over 17th placed Norwich City.
