A 10-man Arsenal managed to edge past Wolverhampton by a solitary goal to win in the Premier League on Thursday night.

Gabriel gave the Gunners 1-0 lead on the 25th minute as he netted a cross from Alexandre Lacazette.

Wolves struggled to create any chances in the second half but got a ray of hope coming when Arsenal's Gabriel Martinelli was sent off after getting two yellow cards within minutes.

However, Arsenal defended brilliantly for 20 minutes to seal a 1-0 win.

After the win, Arsenal moved to fifth spot with 39 points in 22 games while Wolverhampton remained eighth.
