Premier League: Arsenal beat Tottenham in north London derby, Chelsea edge out Crystal Palace

Arsenal vs Tottenham

Arsenal extended their lead at the top of the Premier League to 8 points after they beat Tottenham 2-0 in the north London derby on Sunday.

Spurs keeper Hugo Lloris gifted the Gunners lead in just the 14th minute with an own goal before captain Martin Odegaard doubled their lead 9 minutes later.

On the other hand, Arsenal's keeper Aaron Ramsdale made a couple of super saves to make sure Mikel Arteta's men extend their unbeaten run in the league to 12 games.

Chelsea vs Crystal Palace

In the other major game, Chelsea edged out Crystal Palace 1-0 to stay at the 10th spot.

Kai Havertz was the lone goal scorer of the game and is Chelsea's join-highest scorer this season. His 6th goal in all competitions helped the Blues earn just their second win in the last 10 Premier League games.

Newcastle United vs Fulham

Alexander Isak marked his return from injury with a match-winning 89th-minute goal, helping his side Newcastle United beat Fulham 1-0.
