Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has hinted at an earlier exit from the club than expected if the players don't respond to his cry for maintaining a certain standard of play.

Despite Man City coming back from 2 goals to win 4-2 against Tottenham Hotspur in the league, Guardiola has called out his players for their lack of hunger and desire in terms of catching Arsenal in the title race this season.

"I understand (the challenge) but I am here to do it. The chairman knows that. I want to be here, otherwise I don't sign

"But if I lose the team or I lose something I cannot be here"
