Paris Saint Germain bid farewell to Lionel Messi

The star Argentine footballer Lionel Messi's glorious stay at Paris Saint Germain ended as the Ligue 1 club bid farewell to the 35-year-old.

Messi who helped the team secure the record 11th title last week is parting ways with the club after a 2 year stay. 

The Paris-based club extended its warm wishes to the World Cup-winning captain on social media and posted a video, which was captioned, 'the club would like to extend its warmest thanks to the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner, who also lifted a Trophée des Champions and two Ligue 1 titles with Les Rouge et Bleu'

In 2 seasons at PSG, the Argentine won 2 French titles and French Champions trophy while accumulating a total of 32 goals and 32 assists in all competitions.
