Egypt football captain Mohamed Salah voiced his support for Gaza in a video message on October 19.

Calling on world leaders to come together to prevent further slaughter of innocent souls, Salah said, 'There has been too much violence, heartbreak and brutality,' adding that Gaza must receive humanitarian aid immediately.

He also spoke of the airtstrike on a Gaza hospital that reportedly killed over 500 Palestinians stating that scenes from there were horrifying.

The 31-year-old Liverpool forward emphasised, 'All lives are sacred and must be protected. The massacres need to stop. Families are being torn apart.'

He concluded with a singular message, 'Humanity must prevail.'
