When most people at 15 are busy with school, mostly not clear which career path to choose, Arsenal's Ethan Nwaneri already made his Premier League debut.

When Mikel Arteta sent on the schoolboy midfielder in the closing moments with his side leading 3-0 against Brentford, Nwaneri became the youngest ever Premier League player aged 15 years and 181 days.

He broke the record held by Harvey Elliott, who made his debut for Liverpool aged 16 years and 30 days against Fulham in 2019.

After the game, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta said that he really liked the boy and he was sure to give him a go if there was an opportunity.

Nwaneri has made several appearances for Arsenal Under-18s and played for England Under-16s when he was 14.
