Manchester City added yet another silverware to the Treble they claimed last season as they won their maiden UEFA Super Cup title on Wednesday.

Youssef En-Nesyri put the Europa League holders ahead in the 25th minute but the Cityzens bounced back from a goal down to make it 1-1 in the second half.

Cole Palmer's equaliser for City sent the match to a penalty shootout where the Cityzens displayed immense composure to beat Sevilla 5-4.

Pep Guardiola became the first coach to win the competition with three different clubs. He had previously won it with Barcelona and Bayern Munich.
