Liverpool's Jurgen Klopp named Premier League manager of the year

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has been named Premier League Manager of the Year.

The 54-year old manager was rewarded for Liverpool's excellent performances over the course of the 2021-22 season. 

After receiving his award, Klopp said, "It is a great honour and it was an insane season. When you win a prize like this you are either a genius or you have the best coaching staff in the world and my coaching staff knows how much I appreciate them."

Liverpool won the League Cup and FA Cup and came up just short in the Premier League title race this season and is aiming to win the Champions League final against Real Madrid on Saturday.
