Liverpool advanced to the fifth round of the FA Cup after thrashing Cardiff City 3-1 on Sunday at the Anfield.
After a goalless first half, Liverpool kept looking to break the deadlock, and eight minutes into the second half as Diogo Jota scored his 15th goal of the season when he headed in a cross from Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Liverpool doubled the lead in the 68th minute after a mix-up from Cardiff defenders in their own box which allowed Takumi Minamio to push the ball wide of the goalkeeper.
The Jurgen Klopp led side shut the door of any comeback from Cardiff when eight minutes later Harvey Elliott scored the third goal
Cardiff pulled one back as a consolation as Rubin Colwill scored on a counter-attack in the 80th minute.
Liverpool will host Norwich City in the fifth round.
