Barcelona beat Real Madrid 3-1 in the El Clasico on Sunday to lift the Spanish Super Cup title for the first time in 5 years. It was Xavi's first trophy as Barcelona manager.

18-year-old Gavi was the star of the night as after opening the scoring for the Catalan Giants, he assisted Robert Lewandowski and Pedri, helping Barcelona go 3-0 up.

Karim Benzema did pull one back but it was no more than a consolation goal.

With this victory, La Liga leaders Barcelona extended their unbeaten run in all competitions to 9 games.
