Mohun Bagan Super Giant came out as victors in the much-awaited Kolkata Derby as the Mariners beat arch-rivals East Bengal 1-0 to win their 17th Durand Cup title on August 3.

It was Mohun Bagan's star striker Dimitri Petratos who scored the match winner in the 71st minute with a brilliant left footed strike after his side was reduced to 10-men in the second half following Anirudh Thapa's dismissal.

In what was an end-to-end game, both sides struggled to get clear chances in the game.

However, the 132nd final of the Durand Cup was decided by the solitary goal in the end
