Chelsea's Champions League knockout hopes suffered a huge dent on Wednesday as they were held to a 1-1 draw by RB Salzburg at the Stamford Bridge.

It wasn't a start that new manager Graham Potter would have expected as the Blues failed to score in the first half. Raheem Sterling finally put Chelsea ahead in the 48th minute with his 4th goal in 8 appearances this season.

Noah Okafor though equalised for the visitors with 15 minutes left on the clock. As a result, Chelsea are now languishing at the bottom of Group E after two games and will face Serie A champions AC Milan next at home on October 5.
