Many believed that Manchester City can't win every game by just depending on Erling Haaland but at the moment they are. City's $63 million signing continued to shine as his stunning late winner helped the Citizens beat Borussia Dortmund 2-1 in the Champions League on Wednesday.

City struggled to open the scoring but Jude Bellingham finally broke the deadlock in the 56th minute to put Dortmund ahead. With just 10 minutes left, the hosts finally managed to equalise through defender John Stones.

Then came Haaland's moment of magic. Showing brilliant athleticism, the striker produced a winner in the 84th minute to deny any point to his former club.

His 13th goal of the season helped City come from behind and win 2-1. Pep Guardiola's side is now unbeaten in last 9 games in all competitions.
