Barcelona might have presented their new signing Ferran Torres on Monday but the Spanish club has not been able to register the player yet. Torres still can't play for the club as Barcelona director Mateu Alemany revealed that the club knew there was no room for the centre forward in the squad in terms of salary when he was bought last week.

However, the Barcelona director is hopeful that the club can register him as they are making moves in different areas. In response to the recent development, Torres seemed to be unconcerned and said that the club is doing all it can. Notably, Torres moved to Barca from Manchester City for an initial fee of 55 million euros that is $62.2 million.

The Spanish footballer's five-year contract with Barcelona will end in June 2027.
