UEFA finds itself in a muggy situation as Nearly 2,000 Liverpool fans are all set to sue the European football's governing body over the treatment they received ahead of last year's Champions League final in Paris.

The traveling Liverpool fans complained that they received shocking treatment from the French Police ahead of Liverpool's final against Real Madrid. UEFA had delayed kick-off by 35 minutes, citing "security issues", with fans subjected to crushes, teargas and street crime.

Several fans allege they endured injuries or suffered psychological trauma as a result of the chaos.

Over 8,500 testimonials have been gathered from Liverpool fans that include photographs and videos of the incident to submit to an independent review commissioned by UEFA.
