Kolkata, Oct 8 (PTI) The well-established top-order batter, Abhimanyu Easwaran, has been appointed as the captain of a formidable Bengal squad for the upcoming Ranji Trophy 2025-26 season, commencing on October 15, as announced by the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) on Wednesday. Talented wicketkeeper-batter Abishek Porel will take on the role of vice-captain. The team’s pace attack is set for a significant enhancement with the return of India's fast-bowling duo, Mohammed Shami and Akash Deep.
