After Nitu Ganghas, Amit Panghal made it 2 gold medals for India in boxing with his sensational victory over home favourite Kiaran Macdonald.

The 26-year-old who hails from Rohtak in Haryana bagged the Gold with yet another 5-0 score, highlighting his sheer domination in the final.

Macdonald was unable to cope with Panghal’s fiery punches in the first couple of round, and while the Englishman did better in the final round, the Indian pugilist’s superiority gave him no chance of a comeback.

It was a dream come true for the experienced Panghal, who had to settle for Silver in the last edition at Gold Coast. Well, not anymore!
