England's Ollie Robinson's fiery send-off to Usman Khawaja and his following remarks in the Edgbaston Test are not going down well with Australian cricketers.
After Ricky Ponting and Matthew Hayden's harsh comments, former Australia coach Justin Langer has slammed Robinson for his on-field altercation with Khawaja.
In his column for The Telegraph, Langer called him 'silly' and remarked, 'junkyard dogs tend to bark'
After the Khawaja incident, Robinson had singled out Ponting and had commented, 'we've all seen Ricky Ponting and all the Aussies do the same to us'
Referring to this Langer wrote, 'Sledge ex-captain Ponting, the much-loved little master of Australia and there is always going to be backlash, you're taking on an entire country here'
He went on to say in his article, 'it is ok to have a chat but make sure to back it up. A send-off, a crack at a legend and a prediction of 3 number 11s when those same 'bunnies' hit the winning run. Junkyard dogs tend to bark'
