WTC Final: 1st batch of Indian players leaves for London; Virat, Siraj to follow suit

The first batch of players and support staff from India's World Test Championship squad left for London in the early hours of Tuesday.

Cricketers whose IPL campaign ended May 20 departed for the UK, which include all-rounders Shardul Thakur and Axar Patel, spin maestro R Ashwin, and pacer Umesh Yadav.

A BCCI official had confirmed that fast bowler Jaydev Unadkat would be flying on May 23 as well, however, there has been no confirmation of the same yet.

Multiple reports state that Virat Kohli and Mohammed Siraj will join the 1st batch on May 24.
